What’s Trending on The Streets of Paris

Walking the streets of Paris we see tons of street style. Whether it's the typical 20-something-year-old or the older man crossing a crosswalk the street style in Paris is filled with trending items. This comes as no surprise for a city known for its fashion. Lately, this city's sidewalks have been ridden with the iconic trench coat. However, not in the way we are most familiar with. We have seen many different versions of the trench coat on the streets. Sometimes with fewer embellishments, darker colors than your typical beige, and different textures such as leather or shearling styles. Outerwear is made differently than our traditional styles. Along with that we have seen a lot of monochromatic dressing on the streets. Especially with darker blacks, greys, and even blue hues. 

Another trend that has been noticed is the use of fur and cheetah print. Whether it's fur jackets and accessories or cheetah print accents these two are making waves throughout the fashion world. A last and final trend I have been noticing quite a lot is red accents. This has been shown in bags, shoes, and even cardigans. Each of these trends has been becoming more and more popular. Along with that we see a lot of influence from the 90s monochromatic looks and style inspiration. With unbranded items and quite luxury taking a strong stance in the current styling of the Parisian streets. This makes the already laid-back and effortless Parisian style even more chic.
